Jacob Stambaugh Joins the McCormick Stevenson Team

McCormick Stevenson is pleased to welcome Jacob Stambaugh to our team as Engineer/Intern. Jacob holds a BS in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle and recently received a BS from USF in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working toward an MS in Mechanical Engineering from USF. He loves to design and build creative gadgets that solve challenging problems.

We are proud that Jacob is a veteran of the Coast Guard who honorably served our country. At MCCST, he will leverage his experience as an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certified aircraft mechanic to bring practical hands-on mechanical experience to engineering design and analysis for emerging military requirements. Jacob is ready to combine his real-world experience with his training in mechanical engineering to work with the MCCST Team to provide the Warfighter with state-of-the-art tools in the field to perform their mission.

When he is not in the office or working on a mechanical project that offers the Warfighter an improved capability in the field, he can be found putting his talents to work on home improvement projects or writing music, before he settles in to spend time with his wife and their dogs.

Jacob’s manager, Matt Montgomery, recently announced Jacob’s hire with the accolade that “Jacob’s background in the military paired with his educational experience in mechanical engineering offers MCCST’s customers creative solutions to their real-world requirements. We are extremely excited for our customers to benefit from Jacob’s contributions to the mission.”

Welcome to McCormick Stevenson, Jacob!
