Noel McCormick, a passionate advocate for the defense industry, has served on the NAC Executive Committee since 2019 as a representative of the Small Business Class. With over 35 years of experience supporting America’s warfighters, Noel’s leadership is guided by his deep commitment to the mission of equipping our military with the best possible solutions. He continues to serve on the NAC Board of Directors, helping steer the consortium toward increasingly impactful innovations.

The Florida Defense Contractors Association, FDCA

McCormick Stevenson is proud to be an active member of the Florida Defense Contractors Association (FDCA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing Florida’s defense industry. The FDCA works to position Florida as the leading state for defense contractors, fostering job creation, business expansion, and collaboration within the sector. It also highlights the critical role defense contractors play in providing high-tech, high-wage employment while supporting the Armed Forces with world-class equipment.

Noel McCormick is a founding member and past chair of the FDCA and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He is passionate about supporting the FDCA’s mission to establish Florida as a hub for defense business development and innovation.

Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of Women in Defense, WID GTB

McCormick Stevenson is proud to be an active supporter of Women In Defense (WID), a National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) affiliate dedicated to engaging, cultivating, and advancing women in all aspects of national security. Established in 1985, WID provides a platform for professional growth through strategic networking, education, and career development across a diverse network of members from industry, the U.S. Armed Forces, government agencies, academia, and more.

Trudy Daniels is the founding president of the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of WID. Since its establishment in 2013, the chapter has supported initiatives like the HORIZONS Scholarship Program and the STEM Scholarship Program. These programs help support and inspire the next generation of women in national security and STEM fields.

The College of Engineering at the University of South Florida, USF

McCormick Stevenson is proud to support the University of South Florida (USF) in several key areas, helping to foster future talent and promote excellence in engineering. J.B. Wright, Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering at MCCST, is an active member of the USF Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board (MEAB), where he provides valuable industry insight to help shape the future of the program. A USF alumni and life member, J.B. holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and contributes to the university’s initiatives through his involvement in the Digital Manufacturing Working Group as part of the Manufacturing Division under the Technology Committee.

In addition, MCCST sponsors the USF chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), which supports women in the College of Engineering by helping them connect with the profession and gain recognition early in their careers. We proudly sponsor SWE’s annual 5K event and support the USF Engineering Alumni Society’s Bullarney fundraiser. MCCST also participates in the USF Manufacturing and Engineering Career Fairs, engaging with students from both the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial & Management Systems Engineering programs to help bridge the gap between education and industry. MCCST values our partnership with USF and is committed to fostering the development of the future manufacturing workforce.
