As Director, Maritime Systems, Paul provides subject matter expertise and project management for McCormick Stevenson’s maritime programs, addressing complex challenges in ship structures, advanced maritime and expeditionary logistics, USVs/UUVs, digital twins, AI/ML, and condition-based maintenance. Prior to joining MCCST, he spent a full civilian career with the Department of Navy, retiring from his position as a Program Officer from the Office of Naval Research in 2023.
An internationally recognized ship structures expert, Paul strengthens MCCST’s core competencies by delivering innovative solutions that enhance naval readiness, reduce risk, and support mission-critical operations for Navy, Marine Corps, and maritime customers.
He holds a BS in Ocean and Aerospace Engineering and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a PhD in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. Outside of work, he enjoys bicycle riding, telemark skiing, rock climbing, and time with his family.
