Ray Burdge Joins McCormick Stevenson as Engineering Associate

McCormick Stevenson is pleased to announce the continuation of our longstanding internship program with the hiring of Raymond Burdge.  Ray is a high school senior joining our team for the summer semester.  He is currently attending Middleton High School while dual-enrolled at both Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida, where he is studying both mechanical and electrical engineering.  Ray has been amazingly active at Middleton HS, helping to lead his FIRST Robotics team to victory in multiple competitions both regionally and nationally.  As a participant in the Technology Student Association, Ray finished 3rd nationwide in a Computer Integrated Manufacturing competition, while also finding time to pursue the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.  With previous internship experience Ray comes to us armed with a “Certified SolidWorks Professional” certificate, as well as knowledge of both CNC machining and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.  All of us at McCormick Stevenson look forward to working with Ray, and to offering him the opportunity to learn more about the engineering profession while contributing his talents in service to America’s Warfighters.
