McCormick Stevenson Congratulates Nat McCormick on Earning Mechanical Engineering Degree

McCormick Stevenson’s Director of Armament & Electronic Systems, Nat McCormick, recently earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida (USF) College of Engineering. After working for McCormick Stevenson for a number of years as a drafter and designer, Nat felt a strong desire to expand his understanding of “how things work” which led him to pursue his engineering degree. When asked to describe his experience working full-time, attending school and upholding his family commitments, Nat said, “I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work full-time while in school. It gave me context to the engineering concepts and courses and helped to keep me focused. The staff and faculty at St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida were world-class and really worked with me to achieve my goal. It was also a significant morale booster to know that I had the full support of my family at home and my colleagues at McCormick Stevenson. I would not have been able to do it without my support group cheering me on. Now that I’m done it’s time to get to work! Go Bulls!”

We are so proud of your accomplishment, Nat!
