As a long-term supporter of engineering students and early career engineers, it’s an honor to be nominated and approved as the Senior Vice President of ASME’s Student and Early Career Development Sector (SECD). This relatively new sector of ASME is only three years young, and I hope to build upon the great work of my predecessor over the next three years by promoting pathways of engagement within ASME for students and early-career engineers globally. Our great volunteers and staff members devote countless hours towards the recognition and career development of our constituents through the development and delivery of exceptional programs and content.
