Paul Stevenson, Walter McCracken, Robin Hussong and Diana Stem from the MCCST team are attending the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC). SOFIC is the premier event for the SOF community to collaborate on the challenges, initiatives and the future for delivering the most cutting-edge capabilities. The nearly week-long event offers a jam-packed agenda of education, networking and exhibits for the over 13,000 attendees.
The MCCST team members look forward to SOFIC’s educational sessions throughout the week. There will be speakers from top USSOCOM leadership as well as Q&A sessions with USSOCOM’s Component Commanders, Program Executive Officers, and various acquisition experts across the Command. This is one of the most important conferences for learning and collaboration between industry, government and academia.
SOFIC also provides an ideal opportunity to network with defense industry professionals, USSOCOM leadership, and government attendees. At Operation SOFtalk, USSOCOM senior leadership will discuss how the SOF community can best come together to meet the demanding needs of our operators. This unique networking event allows attendees to engage in an informal environment.
The MCCST team also plans to divide and conquer in order to visit the more than 400 exhibits at SOFIC. The exhibition areas enable attendees to view the latest in SOF equipment and capabilities. And to keep on top of all that’s happening on the SOFIC exhibit floor, MCCST plans to tune into SOFICTV on YouTube – the official network for the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference.
McCormick Stevenson is looking forward to SOFIC, which is held annually in Tampa near the command’s headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base. Check back with McCormick Stevenson for photos and team insights following the event.
